The busy kitchen and large family dinners gave a perfect settling for hearing about the people of the past. As he learned the history of the area and her citizens, he developed a craving to bring the people of the past alive and share their stories.
At the age of 14 he started reporting the social news for The St. Pauls Review. He literally gave his 2 cents to the public being paid 2 cents per word for his weekly article. He holds a Master of Library Science with a specialty in archives and manuscripts. He has published four books as well as numerous articles in regional newspapers and magazines.

He has worked in many different fields, but one thing they all had in common was a connection to the Hispanic community. A native Spanish-speaker, Marco works to unite the Spanish-speaking community with the small-town community he knows and loves. When he is not working, Marco can be found planning his next handyman home project, hosting get-togethers with friends and family, in the garden, or running. He is excited to continue to be a part of what makes St. Pauls a great place to grow up in.

I'm Amy Wheeler, born and raised in our "small town with a big heart", St.Pauls NC! My husband Stephen and I are actually high school sweethearts who met at St.Pauls High. Stephen and our little one Easton are my everything. Recently, I've opened my very own boutique storefront in town. Lavish Rose Boutique can now be your first stop to grab a new outfit or browse our book selection while supporting our small business community. You'll always find me shopping, whether that looks like a new outfit or an armful of books. Or spending time at the beach with my family. I'm so excited to be a part of St.Pauls Possible! I already know we are going to do great things together for the community and local businesses. Our goal is to give back where we can and help the town grow in so many ways.
